Non Ferrous Alloys

Non-ferrous alloys are metals which do not contain a significant amount of iron. They are usually non-magnetic, have good corrosion resistance and have excellent conductivity. Common non-ferrous materials include aluminium, copper, brass and bronze, as well as nickel, titanium, zinc, tin, lead and others.

At WEC Fabrication we have the best equipment, including, modern CNC machining, welding rigs, forming presses and a highly skilled team able to work non-ferrous alloys to precision. We understand how to select the right alloy grade for each job, control heat input in welding, and ensure finishes that meet client standards. Exotic Alloy Welding

Exotic alloys refer to high-performance materials often out of the ordinary. These can include nickel-base superalloys, titanium alloys, speciality stainless steels, duplex or super-duplex stainless steels, and other advance alloys made for extreme environments.

These materials are used where superior resistance to corrosion, high temperature or stress are needed, especially where normal steels or simple alloys are not suitable. Welding exotic alloys requires specialist expertise, and at WEC Fabrication we have both the equipment and the skilled welders needed to carry out exotic alloy welding to the highest standard.
