WEC Large Machining provides large and heavy Machining services to the UK's highest standards. WEC Large Machining continually invests in the latest machining equipment and a highly skilled workforce to ensure that the service provided and work produced is of the highest quality for our customers. We provide large and heavy machined components to a broad range of industries including niche sectors requiring specialist and high accuracy, quality parts such as Nuclear, Aerospace, Oil & Gas and Marine.

Operating from a purpose built 33,000 sq. ft. production facility fitted out to create a highly modern, fully functional machine shop, WEC Large Machining is able to carry out entire projects in-house taking them right through from the initial consultation to the machining and inspection of the completed product. This ability means we can provide a fast, comprehensive and cost-effective service, and meet the challenging specifications and schedules called for by our customers.

We have recently installed our third Mazak Integrex Mill Turn Machining Centre. Working alongside 14 other CNC lathes mostly with Driven Tooling and two smaller Integrex, this latest Mazak E670H II Integrex Mill Turn with simultaneous 5 axis capable of turning 920mm diameter x 4000mm length enables us to offer large specialist capabilities to our customers.

We also offer an impressive heavy CNC Milling capacity with the ability to undertake large batch work or individual one-off pieces or projects. Our Milling capacity includes a Correa Axia floor-type Milling Machine (pictured above) capable of: 11.5m x 1.5m x (2.5m + 0.45m).
